Stress Relief For Kids

Welcome!

My name is Jaclyn and I'm a first time blogger! I'm pretty excited about blogging, even though it's a requirement for one of my courses. I'm a student at Rowan University, but that's not what I'm proud of. I'm proud to be a mom to a beautiful, little girl named Deryn. She will be two years old next month and she is the reason why I'm a student at Rowan University. She's also the reason why I chose to blog on Stress Relief For Kids.

Being a full time student is demanding, especially if you're a single mother like I am. I often feel like school is taking up too much of my time--time that I could be spending with my daughter.



The constant feeling of guilt adds more stress to my life and I feel that my daughter's life is effected by my stress. I researched Stress Relief For Kids because I wanted to learn more about how to reduce stress in Deryn's life.

I'm majoring in Early Childhood Education so I also did this research to use what I found in my future classroom. The world is a busy and stressful place and I feel it's my duty, as a mother and as a future teacher, to do all that I can to make my daughter's life and my future students' lives as stress-free as possible.
